The Launch pad
She started her professional career in 1996, by being picked by Dr Kiran Bedi, to Launch and Lead the 'Crime Home Children's Project' (now called Children of Vulnerable Families Program), for India Vision Foundation. The focus was to rehabilitate children of the inmates of Tihar.
A Guidance & Counseling Travelogue commences.
A while later, wedding bells rang and she was now a forces wife. Embracing her new role in life, she bid adieu to Dr Kiran Bedi, choosing to accompany her husband on his postings.
Herein commenced a unique and immersive journey, of gaining a wide variety of enriching work experience, whilst travelling and living across the Indian subcontinent.
She has since, travelled to all states of India and lived and worked in more than a dozen.
A wide Work experience Spectrum emerges..
She gained work experience working with clients across spectrums of culture, religion, age, gender, education, profession..
She (metaphorically as well as literally), waded thru waterlogged alleys of slums as well as walked plush carpeted floors of embassies and trudged on everything in between.

Worked as a Trainer for Military personnel undergoing The Psycho-counsellor's Course at a Command level Military Hospital.

Was the Station psychologist at an Airforce base, conducting Individual counseling sessions, as well as workshops and seminars for Serving Officers, other ranks and their families.

Worked as School Counsellor at various schools

Taught Counseling Psychology at a Nursing College and Counseling Skills at CNEs

Conducted freelance Counseling sessions, workshops and seminars;
for Professionals, Students, Parents, Teachers; under the aegis of various public, private and government institutions.
A Unique ability Transpires.
Thus emerged her uncanny ability to develop and deliver Custom made sessions to suit varying needs & audiences, and strike a connect with people of varying age groups, social backgrounds and communities.
She became reputed as a Psychotherapist and Career Counselor encouraging and celebrating uniqueness, and began to be seen as an expert on Parenting, Child Abuse, Optimising innate potential, and Mental health advocacy
Dropping anchor
In 2016 she decided to drop anchor and set roots by setting up a counseling studio at Noida.
Thereby she started a private practice, offering In-person sessions at Noida, and On-line sessions for clients settled abroad /out of town.

During this period, she got re-associated with her alma mater DEPFE NCERT New Delhi, as Resource Person, conducting training sessions for Trainee Counsellors undergoing Diploma in Guidance and Counseling

She re-connected with Dr. Kiran Bedi during the IVF Silver jubilee celebration and soon after, got associated with DemonstrativeLearning as an executive team member.

Life has it's own plans..
The pandemic led to a shift from hybrid mode to On-line only.. whether the counseling sessions or the NCERT classes
This inspired the wander-bug in her, to weigh the anchor, and re-continue her travels across India.
